We should create an export plug-in/extesion for the GEO repository, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/, and make sure that there is at least one ArrayExpress plug-in/extension that works.
There is already an exporter plug-in that exports data to ArrayExpress, http://baseplugins.thep.lu.se/wiki/uk.ac.ebi.Tab2MageExporter. What is the status of this plug-in? Also, there have been work on a new export format plug-in for ArrayExpress that we should try to get a status report of.
I think we should add repository export plug-ins/extension to the experiment overview display in the GUI. It would be nice to make an export from this view after resolving the issues using the validation tool. Maybe some predefined validation settings should be added 'GEO', 'ArrayExpress', and 'MIAME'?

A GEO export should probably be a two step process. One step to export array design and information about the arrays, another step to export experiment information. If a users uploads information for several experiments the he only needs to export the array info once.
