This is primarily a performance requirement. It can take a lot of time to generate the MeV file and in MeV 4.3 we need to respect a rather short timeout.
Depends on http://base.thep.lu.se/ticket/1237 (BioAssaySetExporter should attach generated files to the bioassayset)
