Description
Implement a plug-in that attaches to the file list view in BASE. The plug-in should ask for the path to a HDFS directory and create external file items in BASE for each file it finds. A recursive option could be used to import a full directory tree.
If possible, the importer could also remove (or mark as deleted) files that already exists in BASE, but are not found on the HDFS server.
